Responsibilities:
- Assist skilled tradespeople and laborers in various construction tasks.
- Carry and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to designated work areas.
- Assist with site preparation and cleanup, including clearing debris and waste materials.
- Mix and apply concrete, mortar, or other construction materials according to instructions.
- Operate and maintain construction equipment, such as wheelbarrows, power tools, and hand tools.
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ladders, and other temporary structures as needed.
- Provide support during concrete pouring, formwork installation, and reinforcement positioning.
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report any safety hazards, incidents, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Perform tasks efficiently to meet project deadlines.
