Typical duties and responsibilities

  • Old paint should be removed from the aircraft body and spare parts using tools and paint remover solutions.
  • In order to get aircraft surfaces ready for painting, clean, sand, and scrape them.
  • Before applying the final paint coat, apply epoxy, polish, resin, or other compounds to the metal surfaces of the aircraft.
  • To create the desired hues, combine paint pigments.
  • To paint the airline’s emblem, livery, numbers, and brand name letters, you must mask and outline the aircraft’s body.
  • Wear protective gear and adhere to safety requirements when spray painting.

 

Education and experience
