Forklift Operator Needed for Afternoon Shift Position
A Warehouse Worker position is available at Penske Logistics. Anyone looking to thrive in a warehouse setting who is also safety conscious and extroverted would be a good fit for this position.
As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Loading and unloading trailers
- Sorting and placing parts in racks
- Operating forklifts
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Other warehouse duties as assigned
You will be required to have the following skills and qualifications:
- At least 1 year of warehousing or material-handling experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions
- Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Flexible to work overtime
- Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions
In addition to the above, you will also be expected to:
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations
- Maintain a positive attitude and work well with others
- Be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
